This session is open to player from the ages of 14 to 17.
Our goal at the Gee-Gees Advanced Football Skills Camp is to teach advanced position-specific techniques. Participants need to have some football experience. This camp does not include a scrimmage, only individual skill development sessions with position coaches and different inter-unit drills. We will hold two film sessions to analyze strengths and weaknesses. Evaluations and feedback sessions will give participants the edge they need for the upcoming season. The camp also includes a speed training lecture from Craig Taylor (Need for Speed program) and a weight training lecture from Lorne Goldenberg (ACC owner and world-renowned strength coach). Participants will also receive a t-shirt and a Reebok practice jersey. Participants MUST provide their own equipment.
Food: A large chicken pita with a drink will be served for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We suggest you bring juice and fruits and/or light snacks.
Note: Camp runs rain or shine! Instruction is given primarily in English. If necessary, however, our bilingual counsellors will gladly assist participants and answer their questions in French. |
