The following survey is focused on gaining information about Football participation, coaching, officiating and volunteer / manager roles. The goal of the survey is to gain a clear perspective on the Football community in Canada, including an understanding of member participation in the areas of Tackle, Touch and Flag football. Some questions pertaining to facility / venue usage are also included.
ABOUT SHARING THE RESULTS:
The primary audience for the data acquired in this survey is Football Canada in collaboration with provincial Football organizations who have been integral in supporting this project. No personal data (name, specific address, contact numbers and email) have been collected in this survey. The postal code that has been requested is purely to provide a general location of each respondent, with the goal that the information provided be assessed in a map based presentation, and only within the context of this project. The balance of the survey responses are to be applied in ensuring that programs meet the needs of our participants, coaches, officials and volunteers and team managers.
Football Canada is governed by a Privacy Policy and as such will not disclose any personal information as result of its collection for use in this survey. If you have any questions about the information and participation in this survey, please do not hesitate to contact the Football Canada.

Coaching Opportunities
Nepean Redskins Midget Head Coach
The Nepean Redskins are looking for a Head Coach to lead their Midget (17-19) team for the 2010 fall season.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the game and excellent communication and organizational skills. A knowledge of current offense or defensive systems is desireable. NCCP certification an asset.
This position offers coaches an opportunity to develope their skills as a stepping stone to Junior or CIS positions.
The Nepean Redskins have been in existence for over 30 years, with the Midget team re-joining play in 2002. The Club has 5 levels of competitive play with Myers and Nepean Bantam players feeding the Redskin Midget team. The Redskins also provide reimbursement for clinics and courses for all coaches on staff.

2010 Welcome Letter from the President ...
Hello to all of our current members, and welcome to any prospective new members. The National Capital Football Coaches Association is very excited about the direction we are taking in 2010. Once again, we have added value to our membership. We are working closely with the NCCP and OFA in order to fulfill our mandate. Our main goal is to help provide the opportunity, tools and knowledge needed to enhance the coaching community.
We are pleased to be able to bring a full calendar of events, beginning with our Offensive Line, Defensive Line and Quarterback Camps. Due to the success of last years Offensive Line camp, we have expanded the concept to include both the Defensive Line and Quarterbacks. The feedback from the coaches involved last year was very positive, and we hope that carries forward through this experience as well. We will also be presenting a variety of expert speakers through our various clinics throughout the year. Check out the Courses and Clinics pages to view upcoming events. NCFCA QB Camps for 2010 Announced
NCFCA is please to confirm that QB camps will be held for both Junior and Senior level Players and Coaches.
Registration status update:
- 18 of 24 players positions filled
- 12 of 12 coaches positions filled (FULL)
The goal of the NCFCA is to assist in the development of both Coaches and Players. With the success of the coaching component of the OL Camp last year, we are expanding the program to include coaches for all camps this year. In addition, those wishing to receive the new NCCP certification, participants will get credit for time spent at this camp towards NCCP certification. In concert with the NCAFA, we believe these programs will be of significant benefit to all participants and is necessary to improve our sport. The final session of the camp will see integration with the QB's. For additional information please check out the Courses & Clinics pages.

February 2009 NCFCA Clinic A Tremendous Success
The 2009 NCFCA Coaches Clinic was conducted on Saturday
Feb. 7th at Ashbury College. Many of the regions top football coaches spent the day discussing various elements of the game with a Clinic line up that included NFL, CIS and CEGEP staff. Hands on, technical sessions, film sessions and open question and answer panels provided a unique opportunity for the areas coaches. This years session included the piloting of the new NCCP Football training in conjunction with Football Canada.

Jim McNally presented at 2008 NCFCA Spring Clinic
One
of the most highly regarded position coaches in football, Jim McNally made a
immediate impact in his two seasons as the Bills offensive line coach. In
2005, McNally helped second-year tackle Jason Peters develop into a
starter. Peters, an undrafted free agent and former tight end at Arkansas,
started the final nine games of the season at right tackle. The Bills line paved the
way for Willis McGahee’s career-high 1,247 yards
